Conatins memoir recouinting experiences during Wallace's military training and service. He describes his methods of finding other LDS servicemen, and he discusses the conditions on the field during the Battle of the Bulge. He also mentions the impact combat had on him. He met Ezra Taft Benson, an apostle in the Mormon Church. He also mentions the mental problems of many of the soldiers.
